Palliative care is about looking after and
caring for the terminally ill (cancer) patients
and their loved ones.
The services offered are free of charge.
What do they offer?
1. Home visit by
fully qualified Nurse focusing on adequate pain and symptom control
2.
Further regular home visits to ensure that patient and care givers are
coping with the progressive illness.

Free loan of medical equipment when needed
4. Advice on issue about
death and dying.

support Line
DAY CARE CENTRE-
Open every Tuesday morning for social activities. Transport also available if
required.

3. Sunflower Centre
Providing care and training to children with
special needs
A team of teachers under a headmistress work full time with the
children using custom-designed programmes to suit individual needs
while volunteers provide special physiotherapy treatment as deemed
required.
The Centre is open from Monday to Friday and is closed during
the school holidays.
